Terms and Conditions

Subjectivity: Coin grading is the subjective judgment and the professional opinion of the grader(s). Therefore, all parties agree that TruGrade has made no warranty and shall have no liability to the customer for the grade assigned to any coin by an agent of TruGrade.

Grading: Option 1: All coins will be graded by Trugrade with the exception of those with questionable authenticity or alterations (coins that have been deliberately changed to increase value or hide problems). TruGrade reserves the right to reject any coin considered questionable and in lieu of the price indicated on the rates table a $1.00 (one dollar) per coin evaluation fee will be charged against each coin that cannot be encapsulated. Those coins that have been cleaned or damaged will be encapsulated with the problem noted on the red label. The customer understands that a non-refundable fee will be charged for this service and that the fee will be the same as for the problem free coin. Those coins that are encapsulated will be subject to the price indicated on the rates table. Option 2: Only those coins that have not been determined cleaned, damaged, or otherwise problematic will be encapsulated. However, TruGrade reserves the right to reject any coin considered questionable and in lieu of the price indicated on the rates table a $1.00 (one dollar) per coin evaluation fee will be charged against each coin that cannot be encapsulated. Those coins that are encapsulated will be subject to the price indicated on the rates table.

Time: TruGrade will make every effort to have coins graded and returned to the customer in a timely manner. Ninety-five percent of submissions will be shipped within seven business days from receipt of coins (excluding holidays). Days in postal transit are not included in the turn around time.

Damage: All parties agree that TruGrade is liable only for damage or loss of coins while the coins are in the physical possession of TruGrade. Therefore, TruGrade is not responsible for any damage or loss incurred during shipping. And it is also agreed by both parties that damages or lost coins will be assessed at the true value of the coin and not the declared insured value.

Removal: TruGrade will have no liability to any person or party for damage resulting to coins removed from TruGrade holders.

Holders: All coins should be sent as specified in the shipping instructions. It is agreed by both parties that TruGrade will not be responsible for damage to coins when sent in holders other then specified.

Receipt: The customer agrees to inspect all coins upon receipt and report any decrepancy or damage to TruGrade within five days. Failure to report any problem within the five day time period will make the customer financially liable to any and all losses or claims incurred by the circulation or sale of a coin that has been improperly marked or improperly identified.

Terms: The customer agrees that the submission form commits them to the conditions and terms set by TruGrade and that no other warranties, obligations, liabilities, or representations extend beyond those set herein with respect to TruGrade's service. Conditions and terms subject to change.
